Manage an in-house team of 40+ staff (ranking including Maintenance Supervisor, Biomedical Officer, Senior and Junior Maintenance Technician, security team and clerical Staff) and a contract-out team of 10+ security guards to maintain and ensure the efficient and effective operation of hospital facilities.

Oversee the planning and execution of facility renovations, alterations, improvement, and implementation of these projects with or without outside contractors, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.

Implement preventive maintenance programs resulting in improved equipment reliability and reduced downtime.

Arrange and supervise the overall maintenance and operation of the utility plant systems, equipment and building infrastructure of the hospital compound

Mr. Fred Au is currently an Engineering Consultant of MGI (Far East) Ltd.
Mr. Au has over 35 years of working experience in project management of building services installations and operation & maintenance of engineering plants including healthcare facilities. His key roles include design, tendering, project administration, planning, control and management of electrical & mechanical projects as well as service and maintenance of engineering facilities. He has substantial professional experience in both the commercial sector and the Government.
